MICHIGAN GROWN

Hearty Fresh grows more than 300 acres of onions, sweet corn and winter squash annually in Portland, MI. We also proudly represent several growers across the state totaling 4,000+ acres to supply our customers the following Michigan grown commodities: Apples, Asparagus, Broccoli, Cabbage, Celery, CRANBERRIES, Cucumbers, Eggplant, Green Beans, Leafy Greens, Onions, Peppers, Radishes, Sweet Corn, Summers Squash (Zucchini, Yellow), Winter Squash (Acorn, Butternut, Buttercup, Spaghetti) AND Tomatoes.

hearty fresh began as an onion packer in 1993 and to this day onions are still our specialty. We are proud to grow AND/or source yellow, red, white and sweet varieties in several sizes including super colossal, colossal, jumbo, large./medium and pre-pack.
to provide the best care for onions, our facility houses a state of the art drying room which forces air from above and below.
